I love using Google Maps as theres nothing quite like it, so heres a way to download a part or area of a map to your phone so that when you have no wifi or data connection you can still use the map functionality. You can go offline and still use the region that you have downloaded as a map. Video footage showing solutions that are working for me and many other Galaxy S users, for improving the Galaxy S GPS navigation experience, in this case, turn-by-turn voice guided car navigation. Tested only with offline navigation programs like iGo,Sygic, Navigon, CoPilot ,etc. Tomtom and Garmin AFAIK, are not available for Android yet. Not tested with online nav apps. like Google maps ( wich is not available or not working properly in many countries).
