Making Routable Map With OSM Data

Section 1: Steps to get data from OSM:

5. Click on Export tab

6.  Select OpenStreetMap XML Data in Format to Export and click on Manually select a different area

7. Drag and drop to select an area and click Export

8. Wait for a while, OSM will export the data for the selected area and let you download a file map.osm. Save the file map.osm to your hard disk for later use.
