definitely the best browser for a mobile phone….because of skyfire i canceled my home internet services cus i found myself using skyfire on my phone more than surfing the net on my laptop….mainly cus its way more convenient to log on anywhere at anytime. athough skyfire drains your battey faster than the plain browser its understood due to the content that’s displayed..i love this browser and i hope that its around forever

I been using Skyfire when it first came out with their frist beta. I always been using the skyfire has my default web browser for my windows mobile phone and love it.
Iphone browser sucks! now you know why I do not have a iphone :) Windows mobile rules!!!

  5. jabberwolf Says:

I love Skype when others dont work, but it tends to suck alot of juice outta the battery, even on static pages.
If they fixed that, which they might have, I’d use it as my default.

  7. david7seven Says:

I’ve used the beta Skyfire versions for about a year, and it is FAR superior to the IE and Opera mobile versions.

You should try it; I think that you will agree that it’s great. (And in case you disagree, it’s easy and clean to get rid of.)

Why does it take so long for a S60 5h compatible skyfire :( I mean, the phone used in the video is a touch phone too, so it cant be to difficult to do it for S60v5

  10. BrainiacN5 Says:

You mean 50% of users are with linux ? If that’s what you mean, I think it’s faaaaaar from being the case lol

  11. nestleomega Says:

i love skyfire!! it runs perfectly on htc trinity, opera 9 just crash the phone btw

  12. ultrasuperbox Says:

    how do u run linux?

  13. MistuhCoolio Says:

the only thing that looks like competition to skyfire is that new browser thats gonna be on the htc hero. it supports flash etc but you can actually interact w/ the flash quickly (ie. playing games on addicting games)

  14. fventura03 Says:

    yeah my thoughts exactly.

  15. warrenbuzzbrant Says:

whats a blackberry port! i didnt think the os being non windows was supported any way

  16. warrenbuzzbrant Says:

great for widows but i run linux so just a “how cutting edge are we ignore the 50% of users we cant sell to” sales pitch

  17. fire2601867 Says:

lol im a idoit i was not connected to wireless so this “like now it says network unavailable but once i restart my phone and open it” is not true

  18. fire2601867 Says:

skyfire rocks, except some times i get error that it can’t authenticate :( , like now it says network unavailable but once i restart my phone and open it, it opens fast and loads pages very fast say that it don’t have java :(

  19. IceClanL2 Says:

Skyfire is the best mobile browser by far! Everything works to their claims and I applaud all of their work!

  20. mikey631 Says:

    “oh, Iggy Pop… AWESOME”

  21. juniorspivey Says:

I cannot get 1.0 to work on my tmo wing. It keeps telling me “Not enough memory”. I used .9 and never had a problem. This is sucking right now.

  22. lsafirkan Says:

Bring Skyfire on the PALM PRE

  23. innomind Says:

“You’re gonna like the way you browse, I guarantee it!” Epic!!! how this guy grins while saying these words, knowing people would recognize the Men’s Warehouse guy…

  24. rezo688 Says:

“Your going to like the way you browse, i guarntee it.” I like how he modified the Mens Warehouse slogan. Skyfire rocks and murders all other browsers. I use both Skyfire and IE since sometimes i only need to view a page in mobile but skyfire is definatly better at many other things.

  25. datshiphop Says:

    i really like this program!
